Let’s be honest for a moment. The world of growing has been sold a complicated and, frankly, unsatisfying lie. A lie packaged in plastic bottles with complex feeding charts, a lie that promises potency but so often delivers a harvest tainted with the chemical ghost of its own upbringing. We’d seen it for years, a parade of well-meaning growers tangled in a web of pH adjustments and nutrient schedules, all in pursuit of a result that felt somehow impure, somehow distant from the true, unadulterated soul of the plant. We knew it was broken. And our refusal to accept that broken system is the entire reason Mulch Love exists. Our mission, the obsessive idea that brought two very different worlds together, was to make organic growing simplified. Not just easier, but fundamentally better.
This isn’t just a business for us. It’s a correction. It’s a return to a more intuitive, more powerful way of cultivating. We saw the waste, the frustration, the simple fact that a grower could follow every instruction to the letter and still end up flushing their soil of life, season after season. We wanted to build something that lasts. A living soil you could reuse, a foundation that gets better with time, a method that works with the incredible intelligence of nature instead of trying to bludgeon it into submission with salts and chemicals. This is more than a product on a shelf. This is our unflinching belief in a better way to grow, made manifest. This is organic growing simplified.
